Miele Antares S4210 vacuum cleaner represents a great value in Miele's S4 entry level compact units. The Antares is a powerful, lightweight, 1200 watt canister vacuum with full range suction control from 200 to 1200 watts. Manual six position dial suction control is provided on the canister itself. The Antares vacuum is supplied with Miele's Super Clean Air Filter. The vacuum can also be equipped with Miele's S4-S5 series HEPA filter for households that require a higher filtration level. You can expect the same Miele quality and quiet operating features from the S4 series vacuums. The vacuum is also equipped with a sealed canister and superior bag technology for dust free cleaning.
The Miele Antares Canister Vacuum is equipped with a STB 205-3 Turbobrush which work best at home on cut pile carpeting. Smooth floor surfaces can be tackled with the SBB 300-3 Parquet Floor Brush, also included.
The S4 Galaxy Series offers consumers Miele quality in a long lasting and affordable canister vacuum. Rotary dial adjustment control allows for full control over your cleaning, depending upon floor types, surfaces, upholstery and fabrics. The ergonomic handle, extra long cord and free wheeling caster take the strain out of vacuuming. The Galaxy series of vacuums are also fully upgradeable to include additional floor tools and HEPA filtration.
You will note that the S4210 (S4 Galaxy Series) is available in 3 models: The Antares (Mango Red), Carina (Melon Yellow) and Capella (Royal Blue) vacuum. Color and Floor tool are the two determining factors between models. They all share the same motor, wand, hose and controls.
Wand / Controls
The S4 Galaxy Series vacuums offer a standard telescopic, 41 inch wand. Vacuum suction control is provided by a rotary dial adjustment on the face of the canister.

The S4 Series is powered by Miele's 1200 watt Vortex Motor System. Capable of 141 Cubic Feet Per Minute of airflow and designed for optimal suction and dust intake.

How do the S4 series vacuum differ from the S5 series vacuums?:
- S4 series are non-electric wands & hoses. Eletric battery operated floor tool can be purchased separately.
- S4 are not equipped with a bumper guard.
- S4 Bag capacity is smaller.
- S4 series are not equipped with a filter indicator.
